What should you do next?   

So you've got a great idea for a song. your next step is to communicate as much information about it as you can to us. Follow the steps below, and very soon we'll be sending you back your raw idea as a commercial CD, ready for global promotion. And who knows... it may just be your dream ticket to songwriting success.

1. Write down your lyrics in a 'verse - chorus' structure, outlining the basic format that you wish to hear on the finished CD.  i.e.. verse, chorus, verse, verse, chorus, bridge... etc.

2. To the best of your ability sing or hum your song and record it onto an audio cassette, following the format set out on your lyric sheet.

3. Tell us what style you want your song recorded in, i.e. 'pop, country, classical.' - Better still, think of a track that you would like us to emulate. e.g. " I would like my song 'lost friends' recorded in the style of 'Yesterday' by the Beatles." If you have a copy of the song include it on your audio cassette.

4. Do you want male or female vocals, and what is your target audience? Do you want harmonies or a solo vocal?

5. Include any other information that you think will aid the producer in recording your song. i.e. "my song forms part of a musical" or "I want my song to be released in the top 40"
6. Decide weather you want us to design graphics for your CD and assist you with promotion, or weather you simply want production on its own. Depending on how many songs you wish produced, calculate the service charge from the table on the 'What does it cost' page.

 

7. Make your cheque payable to 'Mrs.E Gregory' and send it along with your cassette plus all your information to:
